Granada boss Juan Antonio Albacete Anquela said that he's not asking for "patience" after his team's 4-0 defeat at the hands of Málaga this evening, because he's confident that the side can recover. He underlined that he had "his head high" thanks to his players' work.
"We're lacking a lot of points. We've lost another chance to take something away from a game tonight. We didn't make the most of our chances in the final metres" affirmed Anquela in the press room after the match at La Rosaleda.
The coach recognised that "there's obviously cause for concern about the position (of the team)" and he is "sad." But he was however confident that "the team can leave the bottom part of the table."
Anquela said he thought the match "was much more even than the scoreboard showed" and highlighted his belief that in "the first half the team played better than Málaga."
"Málaga had three shots on goal; one hit the bar and two went in. We had lots of chances and we didn't score, but I'm very proud of my players' work" said Anquela.
