Leo Baptistao pulled out of training on Thursday after receiving a knock on his right ankle. He was unable to resume his normal training schedule and was forced instead to train in the gym. Leo's absence was the main story in Rayo Vallecano's Friday morning session as they wait to see if he will be available to face Real Madrid in the local derby on Sunday.
Rayo coach Paco Jémez decided that the training session would be held behind closed doors in order to finalise the tactical approaches they will use in their visit to the Bernabéu. One player certain to miss the encounter is defender Mikel Labaka, who once again trained separately from his team-mates in order to recover from injury.
