Barcelona vice-president Josep María Bartomeu has declared that no-one at the club would be taking AC Milan for granted, despite their poor domestic form, after 'Los Culés' were drawn with the Rossoneri in the second round of the Champions League.
"Milan are one of the biggest teams in Europe and they demand a lot of respect," he said.
"They are not doing very well right now in the league but they have great players. We will have to show them a lot of respect and we'll try to go into the tie in the right frame of mind. They are not enjoying the best times at the moment but football changes from one week to the next. The name Milan still strikes fear into everyone, but we will go into the games with the highest aspirations."
With regards to Tito Vilanova's operation, the vice-president said: "There is no more news and we all wish him luck. We'll give him the all the support he needs and to his family and we'll respect their privacy. In time, he will recover from this."
