Athletic Bilbao coach Marcelo Bielsa has revealed his squad list for the game with Real Betis on Monday night at the Benito Villamarín stadium and there is a noticeable absentee: Fernando Amorebieta.

The Venezuela international has had a poor season and Bielsa appears to have left him out for purely sporting reasons.

Mikel San José will be suspended for the trip to Seville, Iñigo Pérez and Iñigo Ruiz de Galarreta have been left out due to injury, while Xabi Castillo and Isma López have been left out for sporting reasons, like Amorebieta.

The good news for the Basques is that Aymeric Laporte returns to the side after completing his one game suspension for being sent off against Levante, and Jon Aurtenetxe is also back in the squad, after missing the last few games to injury.
