Athletic Bilbao midfielder Markel Susaeta and Barcelona full-back Martín Montoya have both been called up to the Spain squad for the friendly against Panama next Wednesday 14 November.

Vicente Del Bosque revealed his 19-man squad at a press conference in Tenerife, and has given a recall to Juan Mata, who was named the Player of the Month in the Premier League for October.

Seven players who were in the squad for Spain's World Cup qualifiers against Belarus and France have not been included for the game against Panama. They are: Nacho Monreal, Pepe Reina, Álvaro Arbeloa, Xabi Alonso, Xavi Hernández, David Silva and Fernando Torres.

One of the biggest surprises is that Màlaga midfielder Isco, who has taken the world by storm with his performances in the league and the Champions League, has been left out.
