Real Madrid were back at work today after a rest day following Tuesday's Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund. The main news for Madrid fans was the presence of Fabio Coentrao, who rejoined his teammates for training.
Jose Mourinho and his coaching team divided the squad into three groups. In the first of those were the players who were on for the longest against the Germans: Ramos, Pepe, Varane, Arbeloa, Xabi Alonso, Cristiano Ronaldo, Di María and Özil. They did some recovery work under the supervision of Rui Faia.
Meanwhile Fabio Coentrao, who picked up an injury to his adductor muscles on the 12th October with Portugal, was with the rest of the outfield players. The Real Madrid C right-back Llorente also featured in this group. The goalkeepers Casillas, Adán and Jesús made up the final training group.
