Falcao is sick of all the rumours that are being written about his future. Talking to the Spanish TV channel Antena 3, the Colombian wanted to distance himself from all the reports published during the last few weeks. In particular, from one piece of a news on a website about a supposed meal he shared together with his agent Jorge Mendes and Florentino Pérez at the Paraguas restaurant in Madrid. The forward denied having met the Real Madrid president: "It's all a lie. Recently all kind things are coming out about me. All that about me eating with Florentino is false. So is the story that I travelled to the Ballon d'Or with Cristiano."
About his future, Falcao is giving away no clues and says it's not something that he's concerned about. He also says he's very happy at Atlético, but says his goal is to learn more languages. "I already know a bit of Portuguese, English is really important in life and I also want to speak better. After that I'd like to learn French or Italian."
The great desire to know about where the Tiger's future lies and almost push the player to another destination is shown almost every day by the Colombian press. Since the signing of Falcao, Atlético have built up a big following in the South American country, but the general wish is to see the star end up at a bigger club. RCN and Caracol, among others, print weekly surveys about the matter.
On the subject of the tremendous season Atlético are having, the Colombian says he's keeping an eye on the leaders, and wasn't waiting for the slip that came against Real Sociedad: "We don't think about what's ahead of us or what's behind us. Barça winning or losing doesn't depend on us; we're not obsessed with that. Our goal is to always win, whoever is on the other side of the pitch."
On his personal life, Falcao said he is very content with his life in Madrid, and in particular, about the dedication given to him by the celebrated artist Carlos Vives in one of the verses of his new song 'Como le gusta tu cuerpo'. The Colombian even joked about it in the interview: "When they say I like to control it and stroke it, they're talking about the football and not other things (laughs). Very soon we're going to play the song in the Atlético dressing room; everyone's looking forward to it."
