There have been numerous reactions to yesterday's draw between Real Madrid and Manchester United in the Santiago Bernabéu. Man Utd defender Rio Ferdinand tweeted: "Anyone else feel like they seen that Cristiano header from last night somewhere before?" in reference to the Portuguese's goal. He also added the hashtag #Moscow2008, the year that Cristiano scored a similar goal in the Champions League final against Chelsea. The game was finally decided in a penalty shootout with Ferguson's side winning the trophy.
Ferdinand then published another tweet in jest: "In Moscow I ran to Cristiano to celebrate, last night I wanted to run to him... and kinda strangle him!!"
After the draw in the Bernabéu, the tie will be decided at Old Trafford on 6 March.
