Atlético Madrid pesident Enrique Cerezo turned 65 years old today and as his team face Sevilla tonight in the second leg of the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey, he has declared "the best birthday present would be for Atlético to reach the Copa del Rey final".
If Atlético overcome Unai Emery's side and secure a final with Real Madrid, the president believes the final should take place at Atlético's home the Vicente Calderón.
"The last time there was a final between the two clubs it was in the Bernabéu and now it's our turn to have it in our stadium," he said of a hypotheticla final with 'Los Blancos'.
"But now we have to focus on knocking Sevilla out, it won't be easy at all," he added.
The final is scheduled to take place on Saturday 18 May but negotiations are taking place to move it to Sunday 19 May so it does not clash with the Eurovision song contest.
