Barcelona assistant coach Jordi Roura was in a reflective mood after his side drew 1-1 with Real Madrid in the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final tie, declaring: "A draw in the Bernabéu is never a bad result."
Does the 1-1 draw feel like a punishment? "I wouldn't say we were punished. Our belief is that a draw in the Bernabéu is always a good result, it's a good result for us even though nothing is certain. We will go for the win in the second leg, like we did tonight."
Difficult opening period: "I said before the game that these matches are always very difficult and are decided by the smallest of margins. We said before that the tie would be settled in Barcelona and that is still the case. They caused us problems in the first few minutes but later on I think we took control of the game, as much as you can ever be in control when you are playing against Madrid. In fact we expected them to put more pressure on us up top at the start of the first half. We've always known that Madrid are a physical and strong team and that they always control the opening stages of matches."
How did Madrid cope so well without their absent players? "The media said before that Madrid had a lot of players out, but Madrid were not weak, and we knew they wouldn't be."
Contact with Tito Vilanova: "Before the game we always try and speak and then we exchange opinions on key moments in the game, but nothing more than that."
