Jordi Roura spoke in the post-match press conference last night and also discussed the game in the Camp Nou that awaits Barcelona on Tuesday.
Changes: "We decided to take Alexis off early to avoid aggravating his thigh injury. We decided to push Tello and Villa up near the area, and it worked out well because we were able to get back in the game. In the second half things went better; Busquets came onto enable Thiago to move out on the wing, as did Xavi to exert more control."
Conceding goals: "I'm trying to make sure we don't concede; but it's true we're having a few problems in that department. There were a number of mistakes that could've been avoided and that's something to work on. We're a team that usually scores but we still have to improve our positional play. We're trying to avoid this happening."
Tello: "He was important. His role was decisive because Sevilla were closing down the spaces well. He's a player that gives us options and a greater presence in one-on-one situations. Tello's contributed a lot and he has particular and defined characteristics. His work rate and contributions are good and he's a young player that needs to keep working hard."
Villa: "David is a very important player for us. We'll see if he continues to progress with his fitness because he's a decisive player. Just like Tello, he can definitely be very important."
The strongest eleven or changes? "We'll have to wait. First of all, because it was a tough game. We're playing on Tuesday and we'll discuss it with Tito Vilanova. We'll make a decision on the first eleven based on the different variables."
The two Clásicos: "The Clásicos are always important. The one on Tuesday is decisive in the cup competition. The one on Saturday is not as decisive, so the game on Tuesday is more significant."
Changes: "Basically we were trying to keep things calm; everything was open. The worst thing that can happen is to lose your cool and we have to show that to the players, not just the technical side. Games can be lost and we'll lose again between now and the end of the season. Today was a very difficult game, and when we seemed to have things under control they came back at us. Today we showed character and pride."
What was more important, scoring or playing beautiful football? "Winning is always the most important thing. It was important how the team reacted and this team came back at a difficult time. We have to be happy with that."
