Despite a resurgence in form in September, Kaká appears to have lost his place in the Real Madrid team once again. However, Brazil coach Mano Menezes has kept his faith in the midfielder, who is set to feature in Brazil's 1000th international match, against Colombia in the United States on Wednesday.
The Brazilian discussed his current situation at Real Madrid in an interview with 'El Diario'.
Seeing out his contract at the Bernabéu: "I have a contract with Real Madrid for the next two and a half years, and I hope to be able to stay with the club and continue to enjoy my football."
His relationship with Mourinho: "I have a very professional relationship with the coach, and I respect the decisions he makes. He always gives me the opportunity to play whenever he can.
"I get on well with my team-mates, we're all very competitive but that's normal in every team, especially in a team as great as Madrid. Mesut Özil is a great player who I admire a lot as a team-mate, as a player and as a friend."
Being a mature and experienced player: "I can share my qualities with the team, and now I can offer experience and maturity, too. I contributed a lot to my teams in my first ten years as a footballer but now I can contribute even more to Real Madrid and the Brazil team."
