PSG are today coming to terms with their close defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League on away goals (2-2 in Paris and 1-1 in Barcelona). The Catalan side was wobbling when they fell behind to a Pastore goal, but on came Messi and changed the match and the tie. "We scored and had a chance to make it two. We had the Nou Camp trembling, and that is massive. I think Barcelona were frightened during the game. I'm sure that if Messi had been on our side we would have won 6-0", said PSG sporting director Leonardo after the match.

The PSG executive offered thanks for the hard work from his team and restated how impressed he was that they had matched Barcelona over 180 minutes of football. "The best team in the world has knocked us out, but we didn't lose a match. It's incredible, but that's the way it is. I'm frustrated. Over the two games the team was immense. Making the Nou Camp tremble with fear is not easy, but we did it".

Leonardo also had praise for Carlos Ancelotti, who many see out of PSG soon. "He's an amazing coach. We're doing well in the league with a seven point lead over second place and we need to continue like that. We need to focus on the league. We're en route to our place in the history of world football".
