Levante coach Juan Ignacio Martínez saw the funny side of things after his side lost 0-2 at home to Osasuna on Monday night at the Estadi Ciutat de Valencia.

Two late goals by Masoud Shohajaei and Kike Sola in the second half gave the three points to Jose Luis Mendilibar's side, who won the same fixture between the two side's 4-0 at the Reyno de Navarra stadium last September.

Levante have beaten Real Madrid and Valencia since returning to the top flight, but have been unable to beat Osasuna, and Martínez reflected:

"At least we don't have to play Osasuna every week, because in the last four games we haven't been able to beat them."

The Levante coach also rued his side's missed chances, but admitted the Navarrans were superior in the second half.

"We deserved to be ahead at half-time but it wasn't meant to be, and they kept improving and by the end they were better than us, and we have to congratulate them," he said.

"We are doing great things in Europe but in the league we were very strong at home and now we have lost two games at home in a row, that's something we need to correct," he added.
