Real Madrid were back on the pitch at the Bernabéu today for the first time since the last Liga match of the 2011/12 season against Mallorca. They were training, in preparation for this campaign's debut against Valencia on Sunday (7pm, C+ Liga and Gol T).
José Mourinho, who had his international players for a second consecutive day, was giving no clues as to the starting line-up for the fixture. Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ozil, Di María, Higuaín, Khedira, Arbeloa, Albiol and Coentrao were working with Rui Faria doing stretching activities and running.
The three keepers Casillas, Adán and Jesús worked specifically with goalkeeping coach Silvino Louro with activities both with the ball and without it. The rest of the players had an intense warm-up before using the ball.
The team will train again tomorrow morning at the Santiago Bernabéu, in what will be the fifth session of the week, and Mourinho is scheduled to appear before the press at 4pm.
