Málaga have expressed their "total disagreement" with UEFA's decision to ban the club from any European competition they qualify for in the next season after they failed to pay off debts to creditors and employees.
In a statement on their official website, the club blasted the decision as "completely disproportionate and unjustified", and said the club had "been made a scapegoat".
"In light of the dismay and anger at the decision, Málaga want to declare it will fight energetically and without resting until justice is done, consulting all the necessary organisations," it read.
The club insisted they were continuing the stages of internal restructuring in order to adapt to Financial Fair Play, and pledged to ratify a previous agreement with the Spanish tax authorities now that it has received the prize money for qualifying for this year's Champions League.
It also denied that it was not complying with its financial commitments to Osasuna and its own employees, and revealed that owner Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Al Thani had recently given the club a 7 million euro cash injection.
