Massimiliano Allegri already has a cunning plan for Kaká if he does come back to Milan. The coach of the 'rossonero' wants the Brazilian to play as far back as he ever has in his career, in the midfield, but just in front of the defence.
It's not a new idea. It's what Allegri had in mind last summer when Milan tried to sign the Brazilian; the thinking being that he can direct the team's play from there. The side have been without a tactical brain to control their football since Allegri himself let Pirlo go and covered his absence with Mark Van Bommel, now with PSV. This season Nigel de Jong arrived from Manchester City, but neither him nor Ambrosini have shown they have the criteria in bringing the ball out that Allegri is looking for.
Obviously the plan has one clear stumbling block. In addition to his creative role Kaká would need to perform defensive duties, which he has never carried out over his career, and there are doubts as to his abilities in this department. The experiment would need to stand the test of time and if it didn't work Kaká could return to his usual position. No matter where he plays Milan are waiting for him with open arms.
