Mesut Özil has been voted by Germany fans as the best player in their national team in 2012.
The Real Madrid midfielder received 32.49% of votes in the survey, conducted by the national side's fan club, according to the German Football Federation (DFB)'s website.
Özil was the clear winner, with Miroslav Klose, with 13.89% of votes coming second, followed by Borussia Dortmund midfielder Marco Reus, who received 13.1% of votes.
Özil, who was also named as the fans' favourite player in 2011, has scored five goals in his last four games for his country, who currently lead their World Cup Qualifying Group.
