José Mourinho will add another record to his long list of achievements when Real Madrid face Manchester City on 21 November.
The match at the Etihad stadium will be Mourinho's 100th game in charge in the Champions League, and, at 49 years of age, the Portuguese will become the youngest ever coach to reach a centenary of games, bettering Carlo Ancellotti, who reached the figure two years ago aged 51.
Mourinho will join a select group of just five coaches who have reached this milestone, with Arsene Wenger, Ottmar Hitzfield (who both reached 100 games aged 58) and Alex Ferguson (who was 62) also coaching over 100 matches in Europe's elite competition.
To this date, Mourinho has played 99 games in the Champions League, chalking up 54 victories, 25 draws and 20 defeats over 11 seasons, and winning the competition on two occasions, with Porto in 2004 and Inter Milan in 2010.
