Vicente del Bosque spoke on Cadena Cope about the incident with Susaeta, who he forgave, and votes for the upcoming Ballon d'Or:
Susaeta: "With his good look about him, it's impossible for him to cause offence. I don't know what to say. He's made it clear that he's happy to be here. What more can he do? People are easily led but I've said not to be concerned, he's a good guy and he's fine. Will he come back? There's competition."
Ballon d'Or: "Tomorrow is when we give FIFA the votes and if they want, they publish them. My three will definitely be for Spanish players, yes."
Analysis of the Panama game: "They were a conservative side that later picked up the pace a bit. We took the match seriously, with commitment, and we didn't give them chances by dominating possession. In the second half we could have scored more goals. They were fluid until the end of the game, with attacking football. We have a standard of play, and know how to control situations. Beyond that, we gave them the freedom to show their talent. We made the game easy for ourselves. Panama are doing well in their qualification competition, and they're organised. I think they're better than what we saw. There were some very pleasing moves, and high quality players. Adding discipline and commitment to that, and a strength in defence to not give the other team breathing space, all the better."
