PSG continue to be linked with all the big-name signings in the summer. In the French media last week there was talk of a fight for Falcao leading the line in Paris, but today it is claimed that the target has become Busquets. Barcelona's holding midfielder has received praise from Ibrahimovic, who recently cited him as one of the cornerstones of Barça's success in recent years. Nevertheless, it is widely recognised that the move is highly unlikely to come to fruition.
Rakitic, one of Sevilla's star players, has recently come under Lazio's radar and it's rumoured that the Italian outfit are preparing a bid in the summer to take the player to Italy. Liverpool, meanwhile, may well enter the fight with Juventus to sign Aléxis Sánchez. The news from Italy is that Juve are willing to make an 18-million-euro offer for the azulgrana forward, but Liverpool will need reinforcements after the likely exit of their Uruguayan star, Luis Suárez.
The numbers don't lie, and it's now eight years since a Wenger side has won a trophy. This has prompted certain corners of the English media to cite Falcao as Wenger's saviour next season. Goals are the key, and 'El Tigre' looks to be the best bet in world football to deliver. City are also believed to be in the running and it's rumoured they're preparing a 46-million euro bid for the Colombian, despite his 60-million buyout clause.
Chicharito is another name in the wave of Premier League forwards to be linked with Real Madrid. This time around it's Man Utd's Mexican striker, Chicharito Hernández, who this year has been eclipsed by the arrival of Van Persie and is looking for a move to Spain for regular first-team football. It is believed that he would be brought in to replace Benzema, though Atlético Madrid have also shown an interest.
Tottenham could make a move for Griezmann and Valencia striker Soldado. Spurs may become one of the summer's big spenders with Gareth Bale's possible big-money-move to Real Madrid. Real Sociedad's Griezmann could be brought in to replace Bale on the left.
