With only a few days to get to know his players, Rafa Benítez will face his first test in charge of Chelsea this afternoon against a Jekyll-and-Hyde Manchester City side who despite being second in the Premier League limped out of the Champions League in mid-week.
Benítez will have his work cut out to replicate Chelsea's success last year, and will have to fight to stay in the job at the end of the season. In England he is seen as Torres' saviour, but it looks like he will also have to paper over some other cracks, namely a defence that has let in 20 goals in the last nine games. Mancini, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back from the Champions League disappointment and victory would take his side back to the top of the table.
The Spanish contingent at Chelsea and Man City.
Six Spanish players are likely to run out at Stamford Bridge. That said, with injuries to Lampard and Terry, Benitez' line-up is still anyone's guess, though Mata and Torres are likely to start. Oriol will fight for a place with Mikel, while Azpilicueta could displace Ivanovic in central defence. Manchester City's Spanish representatives are likely to be made up of Silva in attack and Javi García, who could start instead of Gareth Barry.
Monitor finances, choose your signings wisely, select the best strategy, and face off friends to become the best manager in the world.
