Adil Rami scored one of the goals of the season as Valencia eased past Llagostera to set up a tie with Osasuna in the next round. Sevilla, Getafe and Levante also qualified for the last 16.

Adil Rami scored one of the goals of the season in an otherwise uneventful game at the Mestalla, watched by just 5,000 fans, who booed their team at the start of the match for their catastrophic performance against Málaga last weekend.

Rami picked the ball up inside his own half after 14 minutes and, upon seeing the Llagostera goalkeeper off his line, let fly and saw his shot dip into the back of the net.

An own goal by goalkeeper Wilfred made it 2-0 and Juan Bernat 3-0, but the visitors were at least able to leave with a consolation goal, scored by Nico.
