Real Madrid President Florentino Pérez spoke during an event organized to announce Nivea as the club's new sponsors on Friday. The President directed a message at the team as they are about to enter the most critical part of the season with their progress in the Copa del Rey and Champions League both in play. "Real Madrid is one of the world's leading brands and together with Nivea, we aim to become the leaders and remain competitive up until the end. This is a club will has always battled right up until the final minute and one which never surrenders", he said in Friday's event.
Also in attendance were several members of Real Madrid's first team squad who starred in Nivea's promotional campaign: Álvaro Arbeloa, Marcelo, Gonzalo Higuaín and Sergio Ramos. The skin and body care brand also sponsors AC Milan and the France and England national teams.
