"Hopefully Falcao will be at his best in Barcelona, but we all have to help and support him for this to happen," the Atlético Madrid coach said during a pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday's game against Barcelona in the Camp Nou (21:00 CET).
The game: "Beforehand, you imagine the game in a certain way, but actually anything can happen. There are two ways to look at the game, fantasy and reality. Playing how everyone imagines and dreams about is not easy. Tomorrow we'll probably be playing a lot in our own half, but we're a very direct team and hopefully we can counter at speed when we win the ball back. They also press well when they don't have the ball. We'll look to hit them on the break, that's what we've worked on. It will depend on how well we manage to soak up the pressure and counter."
Praise of Tito: "Vilanova is an extraordinary coach. His work at Barcelona so far has been very, very good. Unfortunately, not much is said about him, which is a shame."
Memories of the Bernabéu: "I didn't talk about what we owed the fans, more that against Madrid we didn't play as we would have liked."
Messi: "He's scored against absolutely everyone, which doesn't surprise us. I respect Villa, any player in that position maybe isn't going to make such a big difference because they have their own style."
Objectives: "Any judgement made halfway through the season is not valid. You have to play well throughout the whole season to reach your objectives."
