Jordi Roura believes that even if José Mourinho opts to rest some of his best players for the Clásico on Saturday it will be no easier for Barcelona to beat Real Madrid.
"I don't know which Madrid side we'll meet, it's up to their coaching staff to decide, but whatever team they go with, they'll be competitive and they'll go out looking for the three points," said Roura in a press conference on Friday.
How important is this Clásico after the Copa del Rey tie?"It's very important. First of all there are three very important points to play for. Secondly, a win would help us recover our self esteem and morale. There are still many games to go before the end of the season, but it's a very important game. The league is a title you win due to excellence."
Crisis:"We've had a wobble, but the team will come out of this and compete for everything. Whether things improve or get worse for us, you can't doubt the attitude of the players."
Messi:"Yesterday he had a fever, but he has recovered from it. When you have the best player in the world and he goes a few games without scoring it has a big effect on you. But we have full confidence in him. Messi can go as many games as he wants without scoring, he will score again."
Críticism of Barça's model:"I know that the job of journalists is to analyse and give opinions. When you are at Barcelona any incident can be blown out of all proportion, when things go well or badly. But we are outside all this. The players know how this works, and so do I. When everything is going well, the reaction is fantastic, and when things don't go well, everyone starts to question you. A few days ago our way of doing things was fantastic."
The defeat on Tuesday:"We watched it again and our errors are easy to see. Another thing is whether we can solve them, because we are playing against a team with brilliant players."
Kaká said that now Barça and Madrid are at the same level:"That's his opinion, but the last few games have been decided by tiny margins."
Barça ready to rise again:"We are ready to compete again, we are feeling good about the game and we think we have a chance of winning it. The players are in better spirits now, it's another competition, we are the league leaders and we're going out looking for a positive result."
